RemindMed · kaerudev

Last updated: 14 August 2026

The short version: your health data never leaves your device.

RemindMed is a medication reminder app built by kaerudev. This policy explains what data the app handles and how.

Data that stays on your device only

Everything you record in RemindMed is stored locally, encrypted, and never sent to any server:

This data is encrypted with AES-256 before being written, and the key is generated on your own device and held in the operating system's secure storage (Android Keystore). Neither we nor any third party can read it.

There is no user account, no sign-in, and no cloud sync. As a direct consequence, uninstalling the app or switching devices loses this data, because no copy exists anywhere else.

Data handled by third parties

RemindMed offers an optional subscription. If you subscribe, two third parties are involved in processing the purchase:

If you never subscribe, these services receive nothing beyond what is needed to confirm there is no active subscription.

What the app does not do

Permissions

Deleting your data

Because there is no server and no account, there is no deletion request to make: uninstalling the app permanently removes all of your data from the device.

If you subscribed, purchase records held by RevenueCat and Google Play follow those companies' policies. To request deletion of those records, contact us at the address below.

Children

RemindMed is intended for users aged 18 and over and does not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the date at the top will be updated and the current version will always be available on this page.

Important notice. RemindMed is a personal medication organiser. It is not a substitute for professional medical advice, it does not diagnose, and it does not recommend treatment. Talk to your doctor or pharmacist about any questions regarding your medication.
